ABOUT OUR DOJO
New Members
New members are welcome to start training at anytime. During class, new members are assisted by black-belt instructors. Attention is given to basic movements and techniques, safe ways of falling (breakfalls) and dojo etiquette.
Aikido training brings you into contact with yourself and ways to achieve harmony of mind and body and with others.
Color belt ranking is used to ensure that students progress in a structured and systematic manner. While Aikido is a martial art, emphasis is placed on individual safety and respect for others during training.
Aikido can be beneficial for everyone. Individuals of all ages, physical ability and background are welcome. Ideal clothing for a beginner is a track suit or judo uniform.
